Newbee loading question

As I am new to the BassCat (Pantera Classic) world the last two loading experiences have not been good. The roller was above the bow both times and had to put the trailer in deeper (could have used my fly fishing waders to get off the boat). I have had approx two feet of the lower bunks out of the water when loading. The pics of the Sabre loading on the FAQ page show four to five feet of the lower bunks out of the water. I this the amount I should be using as a guide? Thanks…

That usually happens when youve got your trailer in too deep to start with. The Classic can definitely be a very interesting boat to load on some ramps, especially when youre by yourself!

Are you putting it so deep b/c it wont push up on the trailer? If so what prop are you running?

A fishing buddy said to put it in that deep. Thats what friends are for. 200 Optimax with a 26P Tempest.

Rule of thumb on all the boats I have ever owned has been back trailer in until the small bunks on the back of the trailer are nearly submerged. Never had any problems loading like this. I have never had a classic but this has worked well on my puma and the other brands of boats I have owned it the past.

Leave the top 2-3 inches of the the fenders above water . Sometimes have to ” JUMP ” it into place due to ramp angle .

I had the same issues with my 2011 PII took the bunk advice, or I back the trailer until the water is just below the fender LED light… have to give it a little UMPHHH but never another problem.I will say something about this board and all those on it. I have yet to see another newer BCB in my area of S. Calif so help out here is scetchy at best. But with all the advice I have recieved here and the support of BCB on there product and Dealers like Sherms marine.. I couldnt have spent my money on another bass boat and been this pleased.No way..Thanks allSteve “Gunz” Molina

Just keep the outside bunks out of the water slightly. More bunk out of the water on steep ramps, just the tips sticking out on those outside bunks on flatter ramps.

Thanks for the heads up. So Calif Cat owner Steve M is going to monitor me at Saturdays Wounded Warrior event. The learnig curve looks shorter now. Gawd I love this boat and board.

I know you have a Classic but probably similar to a Sabre.
