Night spotlight

I am needing some sort of light on the front of my boat for night driving and spotting shoreline. Anybody had any good experience with any certain light?

I always put a q-beam spotlight in the hands of my partner.

I use a 100+ lumen LED handheld flashlight that I keep in my PFD pocket. That way I can turn it on only when I need to see something and dont ever shine on anybody else ruining their night vision.Deke[font=&QUOT]Deke[/font]

Thanks, I had seen those remote lights that go on the bow of the boat. BPS has them for fourhundred and some odd dollars and just was wandering if they were any count.

As said above, any type of cheap spot light will do the job!
