nonskid/seadek? Ever?

Will any model redesign ever possibly consider a non-skid option? Ease of upkeep, not to mention comfort (with one of the seadek-type coverings) would be a big plus for some, maybe many? Not many options otherwise except for R boats or going to a flats/bay model. Just wondering if a project like the hybrid hull we hear about has better potential for sales instead of the non-skid option? I see the YarCraft tiller model with nonskid and it looks like a real innovative boat, really wowed me, but not a big enough front deck and figure it probably drafts deeper than a Cat. Just wondering. I dont think I can bring myself to buy another boat with carpet.
