The engines are virtually identical today, and the difference was the steering tube was stainless years ago. You will need to flush the engine after use, and rinse the bilge down. One day wont hurt, though salt water is very corrosive on things. We do dealer meetings in salt water and brackish water once in a while and we just run them a few days and rinse then out. They can handle that. The terminal corrosion is the only thing we see starting to corrode soonest there. BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on May 10th, 2009, 1:28 am, edited 1 time in total.
