The weep hole is there to as a “indicator”. Any other time i would say to pull the lower unit and check the lower crank seal(if it brown oil which would be dfi oil). Or upper seals on the lower unit(bluish green high performance gear oil). In your case though most likely is caused from “spillage”during the prime of the engine mounted oil tank. Though i would thoroughly keep a watchful eye on it. I would pull the cowl and just give a look around the engine mounted tank for piece of mind. This is a 2 stroke im assuming? You done the correct option though by informing the dealer.
