2 speed auto transmision added to outboard mid section for rocket hole shots, then shifts to 2nd for top end speed. If they can not do that then right now I would settle for A/C txmrbass, we have seen a functioning 2 speed gearcase which the rights eventually were sold on. We know where those rights are at this time. The gain was not tremendous, because engine horsepower controls the pitch you turn. The reversing of that theory would be a wise idea. Though that never got to occur. We doubt we will ever see this in bass boats.BCB

Id love to see the weights of the 4 strokes come down to that of the lightweight DFIs such as the Optimaxes. Adding turbocharger to add that much anticipated burst would be nice, given that the weight could be contained. Honestly, when I read all the hype about the Verado, I was eager. Then I found out that they weigh a ton and are not good on fuel. They have a long way to go.The new 250SS Suzuki is a step in the right direction, but still way too heavy.Most importanly of all, I want to see the prices become reasonable like the EFIs and the CARBs were. It seems that the green engines raised the prices so high compared to carbs and we will never be able to recover.Thanks,Dan Dan, That new 250 SS Suzuki is only about 50 pounds more than a 250 Opti. We think the weight is fine, and the performance is fine too from our perspecdtive.BCB

Eliminate the trolling motors with Jet drive trolling ports built into the boat hull which would propell the hull with water movement, much alike bow thrusters on big boats.Also a fish landing area with recirculated water so when a fish is landed it lands on a wet surface instead of dry carpet which removes the protective slime coat off the fish.Then, referigated livewells, and cooler.Retractable windscreens.Electronic mosquito barriers.Pop-out lock wall guards in the rub rail !(for P.A.) You asked ! Actually we have considered docking guards of some types.BCB
