They run lean on the Optis and can foul a plug. You may be able to run it hard, pull the safety switch at the ramp. Coast down and load with troller, remove plugs till you find the dark one and replace it. If the are all the same, then it may be something else. A mechanic with an DDT can do this pretty quick.

Yes replace the fuel lines if they have not been replaced since 2006, replace primer bulb and make sure the arrow is pointing upwards as well and rememebr to prime the bulb, prior to first start of the day and possibly other times throughout the day (many feel you dont need to on the DFI- this is far from the truth), either you or have the mechanic rebuild the Pulse fuel pump (PN- 857005A1) located on the front of the VST canister (more then likely this is your problem), the rebuild of this is very simple and can be done in about 30 minutes.

I have removed the silver fuel line it has red mercury numers etc with a 2005 date code even cut it open no porblems noted. I was wondering if bcb has seen any problems with black fuel line back to tank from primer bulb? also Im not sure if line is 3/8 or 5/16 or does It even matterr which I use, it looks like the black line into merc is 5/16ths. Iwas hopeful that I would not have to go back to tank with new line as well

Just the grey as the other is either A2 or A1 line on all event BCB models.
