This was my first experience fishing the Owners Invitational. Based on the few keepers I caught one would think it was not a good tournament. I had mechanical issues a few hours in to the first day; a Bass Cat rep responded to my call and came to help out and ensured I got back to the marina safely. A Mercury rep was also on hand and was very helpful in diagnosing the problem and get me back in the water after a short delay. Sounds like a bit of a nightmare; no, it was a great time. Many thanks to the folks from Bass Cat for putting on a good show and the folks from Mercury for helping myself and many others this weekend. I met a lot of good people, made some good memories with my fishing partner and we are already looking forward to the 2024 Tournament.
