P-II Owners – Opinions

Im very close to ordering a new 12 P-II. Do you feel the front deck is plenty roomy enough? It indicates its just short of 60". The Z-7 Nitro I have now is 80" and thats one of the first things I noticed looking at the P-II was the front deck. The beams on both boats are the same. Seems like the P-II gets narrow fast as you get to the frontFor those that have the BCB Carpet logo how has it held up since youve owned your boat?Does anyone know exactly where the optional radio mounts? Maybe someone has a picture?For the most part I have this boat loaded with options. The only thing left is the color. Right now considering White hull with a black boot and white cap. Then maybe a fire red or raspberry cap & hull inserts outlined with charcoal trim strip and carpeted in ash. I thought white would show less scratches over the years and be cooler on those hot days. However there are so many awesome color patterns Ive seen it makes it hard to choose. Thanks for any opinions!Gary

The Sonic hub requires a NEMA network not an ethernet network like the LSS-1 units require (FYI) so you dont have to worry about the network being full. I am not sure what the new boats are coming with but I think it is just the Eyra that got the retractable straps? Also think about getting some livewell lights installed as well. Thanks for the heads up on the Sonic Hub. If thats the case that would be the way to go. I believe the cost of the Sonic Hub is $300 (3 Rivers Marine). The BCB Sony Radio is around $380. I dont have a ipod, iphone or mp3 player but the built in HDS tuner using the Sirius subscription would be fine for me.I dont tourney fish and rarely use the livewells. I didnt think the lights would be benefical to me.

You wont have trouble with the tandem trailer. I havent found any place I couldnt back my tandem into that I could back my previous single axle trailer. When Champlain is at flood stage like it was earlier this year, launch gets real tight but still didnt really run into any issues. You are soooo going to love this rig and ride. Cant wait to hear your reports.

I have the tandem and can put it anywhere! Think you will be fine and you will love pulling it!
