P2 Electrical problem

I also have a 2013 P2 with a similar issue, but I notice it only happens occasionally, when I first start the engine. Turning the power switch off and on seems to temporarily fix the issue and no loose connections have been found.

Thanks for the reply. My gauges have not worked since then. Not sure what to do next but want it fixed. Bass Cat any ideas?Jeff

I just added smartcraft to my 2013. I had to ad a harness and a junction block under the dash . I noticed the analog gauges piped off the 4way junction . Might check the connection of the ignition harness under the dash.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

Which gauges do you have? There are large differences in systems between NexSys and Analog.

NexSysLink gauges gain power and signal through the Mercury Junction box and data harness. The only source of failures are the touch pad that controls the multi function window display. The tach itself feeds everything, and the 555 ECM on the engine sends signals in digital SmartCraft format to the tachometer. We think you have an issue in either the NexSys data harness, the engine data harness, the tachometer or the 3 button touch pad.
