I have a classic (08) with a 2014 Pro XS. I have three props in my basement. 25p Trophy plus, 25p Fury and 26p Fury.First, I ran em all with zero PVS plugs installed.I have been running only the 26P fury (3 blade). Outstanding hole shot and loading, as mentioned. It will hold a steady 18mph with 400 pounds of adults + tackle and full tank (33 gal) of fuel. And the best speed so far has been 78.5 at 5890 rpm (just me + normal tackle + 1/2 tank of fuel). With 2 adults + dog, full tackle and tanks, best speed has been 74.9. The 25p drops about 3mph, all else remains about the same as the 26p. The trophy I do not like. Really weak loading, and hole shot not nearly as good as either fury. Top speed is a bit slower than the 25p fury, maybe 72-73. All of this in air temps between 50 degrees and 80 degrees. No Summer data yet. Cant guarantee all of the above are optimal, I have not spent a ton of time working on top end, just got curious to see what it was capable of.I like the 26p for everything. At about 4200 RPM it runs about 50, which is the sweet spot for optimal fuel usage. Ive never gotten closer than 2mph to the 25p Fury with the trophy. No way I can get anywhere close to the fury running the trophy, and with the results so far, for me the Fury is the clear winner. My wife likes the fact it will run at 20 with zero porpoising or continually having to jockey with the throttle to avoid falling off plane. For pulling “water toys” I might consider a 21P trophy plus. Motor would have enough torque to pull stumps and a slalom skier can swing way wide and not pull it down off of plane.I dont notice any difference in driving quality between the three. Easy to hold the boat rock-solid into the 70s. Have noticed that the 3-blade 26p will go from about 20 or so to over 70 in a 1/4 mile run from where I enter the creek going to the boat ramp until I reach the point where I slow down to turn in toward the dock. Not bad acceleration either when that is the same full fuel load, tackle load, 2 adults + dog. But with empty live well since we are 100% catch and releasers.Last edited by oldtimer57 on March 11th, 2017, 4:44 pm, edited 1 time in total.2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
