P2 Livewell shut off valve

I have a 97 P2 DC.Last tournament I lost my live well water while sitting on the trailer. I thought the live well was low all day long.I will buy a new valve, just need to know who to call and where to look to replace.Is the valve fixable when in a pinch?I took the black plastic strainer cap off the water intake port and jammed a cork in it (yes I was in the USMC and yes I keep a wine cork in my tackle box – everyone should).

Ive been there already on my PII. Contact parts for a new valve. They are pretty easy to change out. FWIW, I would try to back flush it to make sure no debris is in the valve causing it to malfunction. When I changed my valve I also replaced the hoses. I split the hoses with a knife when removing them to avoid breaking any nipples on pumps or valves…

Thanks for the advice. I called this am an ordered a new valve.I did backflush the livewell system. I should of done this b4. I fish the Mississippi, pool 24 to 18 a lot and I should of known better. Lots of sand in my system.I have a power boat that I have to flush several times a year to keep the sand from building up in the exhaust manifolds…A heatgun will remove stubborn old hoses. It softens them up and they come right off. Then you can use the old hose as a pattern. For those that do engine work you can heat up a fuel hose to make a tight bend without kinking the hose.Tim Swanson
