Fly, of course you are welcome to revise anything, though we are not prone to installs which cause issues. Note that in your post the individuals had “warranty” work done and that is a cost to any company. In recent years BCB has revisited a previous trend to 2008 which was stepping up material quality at a considerable cost. Obviously this has been successful and we work hard to reduce warranty issues with costs associated on either side. In 2013 Seat Vinyl was improved and those costs were increased an average of 250%, just on seat vinyls. The positive side of this is that from our knowledge in 2013 we have not warrantied a single seat from vinyl tearing. Those seat vinyls will increase in 2014 by another 12% on our three most popular colors and 80% of vinyl yardage used. This is another enhancement for user enjoyment that will be released at dealer meeting. As much as BCB knows they want padded decks, they must be where the padding is going to last. With everything on a boat being general and subject to independent vendor issues, we try to reduce the potential for failures where we can. Less maintenance and less trips to the dealerships are our goals. Less Problems Per 100 units was something we strived for in the era of JD Power and Associates. We have continued that trend and are probably more focused on this now than we were then. BCB
