Can a P2 owner please verify if the Marine Town latch on their cooler actually has a latching mechanism. If so, mine was missing. I asked this before here and was told by someone at Bass Cat that it was supposed to latch. I went through my dealer and received (from Bass Cat) a complete latch assembly instead of just the latching pawl or arm. The new pawl or arm will not fit in the cooler. It is too long and not adjustable and strikes the front of the cooler before latching.
