so I got a some what top speed with myself and with my partner. with myself full livewells half tank of gas, and all the fear I own in my boat. I mean loaded. heavy lol. I put all my gear in my boat cause Id rather have it and not need it rather then need it and not have it. by myself I hit 70.8 I had to shut it down cause u was ribbing out of room, but she was still climbing. I weight 275 in not a small guy. with my partner (180) lbs and his gear plus what I had in mine we hit 68.5 and it was still climbing I didnt want to push it cause we were in a river system and water was a lill rough in some areas cause of other boat and barge traffic. Im getting alot better on the trim, Ive learned not to trim it to high. the boat just streams to end I know it will go faster but thats fast enough for now. Im running a 25 tempest plus, havent messed with the jackplate at all. the holeshot is awesome, Im on pad in 10ft. it is a rocket out of the hole. the boat also runs rough water pretty well, been on lake mich with 3 and 4 footers and ran 50s with my driving. I know it could have went faster but Im not that ballsy yet. does anybody have any input on if I lighten it up what I could get out on top speed? should I try it and find out, just curious but dont want to do anything stupid. also a spare prop? Not looking to put on a different prop but I want a spare just incase I hit something. should I just get the same prop thats on it? thanks for any input. jeff

Im on my second season with my P2. I did see 71 once running very light, little fuel and just me. Otherwise Im 67-68 all day and pleased with that. I cant afford the 21GPH of fuel it uses at WOT. LOL
