There will be no noticeable difference between the Gearcases on that rig. The hole set will improve slightly and handling will be fine if the engine is not over elevated. The Generation 2 “wingmaster” case is only needed in higher speeds than you will be able to achieve and the black Verado case may actually be faster in this configuration.
The torque master has a larger diameter prop shaft, and uses a solid hub as compared to the standard gear case and hub. Is it a standard 225 Opti, or a Pro XS with a standard case ?
