I have a good friend that comes my way once a year to fish with me from Texas. He is currently running a 2012 522 Ranger with a 250 SHO on it. Beautiful boat and fishes great. We just got back from Pickwick last week after spending 3 1/2 days up there. I have been preaching to him about Bass Cats and think I have him sold. He is wanting to down size a little and is looking at a PIV that is on this board. My question is, What is the Advantage Package that is being advertised and how does it differ from a Regular package or whatever. Either way, is a beautiful boat with low hours and a ton of warranty left. Would be surprised if he does not pull the trigger on this in the next few days. Thanks
898 will fit in the PIV. Cant comment on the garage dimensions. Good luck those are both great boats.
The minimum storage length needed for a PIV with the swing away tongue is 217″ according to BCB. So it should fit backing it straight in. The dash on the PIV is the same as the dash on my CougarFTD, Ive got a 997 in the dash, so the 800 series HBs would fit easily. Enjoy deciding on your choice of which Cat you want!!
Flyswatter and Billus, I think you guys would agree the Location and design of the BCB dash with a 997 or 800 series is 2nd to none. I think the dash is beyond functional and when dressed in pretty colors with good trim its absolutely gourgeous. I especially like the CD player in the dash now, so much better than in my knee, (im too tall). I just wanted to enlighten you to the functionality of the BCB dash design and the styling, also look underneath a BCB then the others, WOW what a difference. Brannon 920-295-2069Your Signature …
My garage is 23 feet. I have about 6″ in front and back by dropping the motor. Have a shoehorn ready.
You will enjoy the P4 and the Basscat family! If memory serves me correct it has 9 holders but several could be layed in the bottom. The standard tank is 33 gallons full, but I rarely put more than 30 because of the bump roads where I live to keep fuel from coming out the vent. All the storage compartments have lights except glove box and cooler. I cant answer what the blacklight options are.
The volume of rods in a Pantera VI is very dependent on your rod selection. The rod organizer should hold about 10 rods, though the mix of those below and in the right storage is varied based on those rods. You should be able to store up to or above 40 rods if you so choose and again depending on how. The fuel tanks are 33 main under seat (left) and 10 gallons rear with an optional 10 gallons now. Thank You for your comment and for looking at a BCB
Most of your questions have been answered. The lights in the compartments are also what triggers your security system… so every compartment with a light in it will also be armed with the security system. Bass Cat offers a “Night Stalker” package for your black light option. The black lights mount directly under the rub rails. You can put them just on the front deck or extend them to the back deck as well. The wiring is concealed inside the rub rail that gives it a very clean finish. This is what I was talking about, this is COOL! Thanks for the speedy response
Purchased a 2010 PIV with 200 hp Yamaha SHO from Greene Boat and Motor, picked up the boat 2 weeks ago. Not sure what you owned prior, I came over to Bass Cat from Skeeter. No storage space shortage on the PIV, as long as you dont buy out Tackle Warehouse. In addition, both decks provide plenty of room for fishing. Opted for the MK Fortrex trolling motor and it controls the boat well.Oh yeah, the folks (Andy, Mark, and Kim) at Greene Boat and Motor in Spindale, NC are awesome!

That is the Advantage Elite package. The Advantage package is a different option group.
