Power Pole ???

I have been doing some updates and am considering the addition of poles....Would really like to know how much pole using you pole owners really do? Are they ok for fishing with a person on the back deck? On some of the shallow year round lakes of Southern Ill I could see some real advantages, for summer time ledge fishing I am not sure? My boat is a 2013 Eyra if that makes any difference? Thanks in advance.Linc W
