how low or high do you guys mount yours? i have two 8 ft pro series poles and have the mounting plates flush at the top of the slidemaster plate (2002 classic). they have performed great where they are, but they look like they sit higher than those mounted on other boats. i have a 200 efi so i know the engine cowling doesnt sit as high and this causes it to look off, but to me they look like they sit as high as 10 footers. i want them to be as low as possible....for more depth and for better looks. anybody have any pics of how low theirs are without causing running problems?
