Power wires console unit

Boat is a 2019 Eyra. I’m looking to directly replace my power wires but instead of just cutting the old connection and running the new wires I would like to remove the old wire from where it joins under the consul to the breaker. It appears to go forward and to the right corner under the console; does that wire simply just go run back to that Main power breaker switch in the console under throttle? just asking before I go digging into something that I’m not sure about. I am fairly electrically inclined in the marine world so this won’t be a bad job, just trying to save an hour and a half of digging around and pulling on wires and trying to figure out what goes where.

On a 19 model. Has upgraded wire. 6 gauge from the battery to a terminal block at the console. 10 gauge on to the bow. Very good set up. As good as it can get!

If it worked fine then I wouldn’t be trying to replace the wires. Every time I crank my motor the console unit goes dim and flashes, and my voltage is usually below 12 anyways, also, whenever I hit a wave the last few trips my graph cuts out and I have to restart it. The wire connected to the graph under the console def does not look like 10 gauge as well.
For my bow units I have power ran to a fuse panel using 6 gauge and from there 10 gauge to the unit and my bow unit always has 12 plus volts.

Maybe BCB will cue in on this. This boat shoulda came from the factory with the upgraded wire for just the graphs, which i thought started in 2016. Are you the original owner?

This makes me think you may have a wiring issue other than what you’re thinking. Possible corrosion, loose connection, bad crimp, etc. may want to take a cursory look at the terminal block on transom. Shakedown is in order.

A 2019 Eyra does have the independent graph harness and the wires are soldered at the battery and console. If the dash unit is failing when cranking, then it’s the battery or harness in the graphs. It did start in 2016 model year.

In 2022 we are going 6 gauge all the way with soldered ends and a terminal block for ring style connectors at both bow and dash.

They use itsy bitsy wire on the graphs, non locking harness ends and graph companies complain about boat harnesses.

This is the harness for the graphs that is in your boat. I also had a similar problem in a 1 week old boat. Every time I hit a wave my graphs would shut off. It was a loose connection. I found the issue by turning on the graphs while the boat was on the trailer, and, jiggling and checking every connection until I could get the graphs to shut off.
