Prattville Al. Toranado

Just got my phone service back up and running. Some may have heard about last Sunday the EF3 tornado hitting us around 3 pm. 800+ homes damaged 150 destroyed, no telling how many businesses damaged or destroyed. Russ Lanes Mom and Dad was hit hard but are OK. My house only had minor damage and my Cat didnt get scratched. 9 houses down the street from me will be a total loss. Yall pray for the survivors. We have had our share in Arkansas this year as well. Relief efforts are ongoing and we will keep everyone in our thoughts. After driving around last weekend, and going through Clinton last week, it is a wonder that more were not killed here in Arkansas. Glad you and your family are fine, and we have not heard from Russ. There is no selection in these, just damage wherever. BCB

Stan, sorry to hear about that. I am not that far away from you, but I must have missed the details of that storm and did not know it had gotten that bad. Glad you and everyone is OK. If there is anything I can do to help you let me know!

several yearsa go 98-2000? I had to take the family of 2 children that were killed by the tornado that went through Manilla ,Ar. to ID the 2 kids, all I can say is that is one of worst moments in my life. just pray everytime bad weather comes through my new area ,OHIO , that it goes around me!

I talked to Russ the day of and the day after. His parents were not hurt but their house is need of major repairs before they can move back in. Totaled out both of their cars. It just shook us up pretty good.

Russ is at the Classic working the show and all is good. His parents have their home scheduled for repairs with a contractor and things are underway. The lost about a third of their possessions to the tornado.
