My motor makes a strange sort of squeaking noise at low RPMs. Any thoughts?
That rattle is either in the throttle cam advance under the cowling, or in the side cover plates on the downhousing over the lower motor mounts. BCB
Should it be fixed immediatly, or can it wait. Can I do it?
It is actually just the nature of the beast and you dont have to fix it. BCB
The noise pulsates and speeds up as the rpms increase until it either goes away or the motor noise drowns it out. It must be the cam.
Does that sound correct BCB?
I noticied my 250XS doing the same thing. I am glad to hear that is normal.
