That looks like interference from either having the engine or the other unit on. NO surface clutter there… BCB

Next time you go to the lake disconnect the Xducer from the Jackplate screw it to a board and then clamp it to the ladder or just hold it .. Move it around closer and further away from the engine…& jackplate..Make note of where your screen clears up (if it does…) .I agree w/Basscat it looks almost like you have another depth finder running.. There are several things you can do to stop interference..but only do one at a time!…else youll never know which method fixed your problem…. Ferrite Chokes on the power cord/xducer cord… Move the power source to another batt other than the cranking batt. And Im sure there are others out there that I an unaware of.. I do have both units going at the same time, but you can see in the picture where I shut off the big engine and all the clutter when away, so it has something to do with the motor, or the motor cables, or the location of the transducer, or, or, or? Thanks, JR
