Surely you checked the circuit breaker. There is a small button on the end of the main circuit breaker, and possibly the jumper wire also. try pressing that end button back in to activate the breakers.

If you have power and not to the front, check the outgoing voltage to the wiring.

The circuit breakers are often overlooked because the button on the end is a small button.

The c-breaker was the first thing I checked…all wiring ,batteries,and receptacle look good…I have full voltage at the receptacle up front. It is definately the TM…I hate the idea that my new 40K+ boat is all but DOA because of a bum TM that will require a 2+ hr. drive to a service center who will have it for how long is anybodys guess…I am a business owner and my time for this sort of thing is a major disruption…it’ll probably be a week or two before I can even screw w/it…meanwhile the bite is good and my ability to cut out of the machine shop and go fishing in the evening is all but non existent + the prospect of finding a shipping box, removing the goods from my boat, the cost of shipping etc…just makes me ill. I bought the boat last fall thinking that I would have a bit of time to “work out” any bugs before the upcoming spring and be good to go…so much for that idea:”> …it’s spring. I’m probably not coming across the way I would like and I know the TM is a MotorGuide issue not BC…I guess I’m just venting a bit. Problems are going to arise I suppose and in the grand scheme of things it’s not a real problem ….but I’m still open to an ideas on what the problem may be

Make sure to double check all connections for the TM. Try plugging in a different motor just to be sure. I tried to help a guy once that thought his motor died. We checked all the wires with a meter all the way into the head of the trolling motor and got good readings, so we figured his motor was toast. He made a 4 1/2 hour round trip to buy a new motor only to find it wouldn’t work! After a lot more digging around we found a bad connection on the female plug-in for the motor. It was good enough to get a reading but not good enough to run the motor.

Good Call, as it could be a loose screw in the plug on the motor leads.
