Prop for the PII

I have a PII and a 200 Johnson. I am running a raker 24 on it right now. It did not have a good hole shot with full tanks of gas but with both of the half full the boat seems to run great. In fishing tournmentsfull tanks are a must. Does anyone know the best way to fix this. BCB told me to try a renegade 25, 4 blade. Will this fix it? Please help want to know a little more before buying a 600 dollar prop. Thanks all who help!!!!!
