PROP QUESTION….

I have a 1994 Eyra, Mariner Mag III 150. I tried to take a short cut here a while back and gave my prop several ouchies…and now I am in the market for a new prop…. Where is a good place to start as far as pitch and brand for this boat? The one on it now is a predator… but I cannot find any identification on it… so I am left in the dark… thanks for your help…

I would start with a 24 pitch! I have a 150 yamaha on a 19 7″ boat. Right now I run a 25 tempest with the cooler water temp and I run a 23 tempest in the summer. If I was to buy a new prop I would go with a 24 trophy or Powetech. Hey 94! I ve got at 96 Eyra/175 EFI, running a 24 Tempest. As I recall, the Eyra hull seems to perform better with the Tempest. Being a 150, you probably need at 23-24 pitch prop.
