I have a 2004 Cougar FTD. After my 250XS blew up twice plus lots of lower unit problems I replaced with a 250 Pro XS. I have a 27 Trophy, motor is turning 5800 rpms and am running 78 or 79 mph depending on weather with 2 people and 50 gal of gas. With live wells full hole shot is not so good, thinking about trying a 26 Fury. What are your thoughts?
Many people like a Fury, though we really have no preference between these propellers and we think both have a use. Most 250 Pro XS engines we use a 26 Trophy on though.
