1:75 to 1. And that is the 3 LTR. EFI. The 2.5 is 1:86 to 1.

Let me know how it works. I have a 04 with 225 opti. I have tried a 27 trophy, cant quite get revs, a 26 tempest, little slow, and I have a 25 Power Tech, great out of the hole, hits revs a little to soon, but good overall. Wish there was a 26 High 5. Milton

Theres nothing wrong with a five blade prop on this set-up, and im not sure youll gain any speed with a three blade, at least not in the overall performance of the boat. I ran a 22p four blade on my 90 model, and loved it. The old Mariner Mag III was a stout engine in its day, but liked to turn around 6,000rpms to keep it from fouling plugs. The 22p four blade(Predator) would run about 6,000rs winter or summer, and run in the low 60s, When it was new ! As boats age they tend to lose performance, both from the engine losing pep, and the boat not being as solid as new, and maybe taking on some moisture. Bottom line, try whatever prop you chose to try, but id try a four blade with the proper pitch and let her eat ! D.

Hard to say on a 90 model if you will gain. Though we would start with a 22″ Trophy for a base on that rig. BCB

I dont know what kind of numbers you are turning, but I have a 92 with a 150, and mine runs great with a 23.

Not a bad choice, and a 25 Renegade is a better one. Your could try some of the Merc props, though we dont know where to begin other than a 25″ Trophy.

The part number on your Tempest is embossed in the hub and it will get you what you need. They are all the same, and you can just request a new 25 Tempest. BCB

I have a 07 P-2 (same hull as yours). Im running a a 25 Tempest now but when the weather gets cooler, I run a 26 Trophy. If your current prop is still servicable, you might want to get a differiant size or prop.

jr, You can tap the thrust washer with a small hammer to break it loose from shaft no big deal. Washer should be fine. I could staighten out your prop for you balance etc. Give me a call if you need any help. Im just outside St. Louis and ship UPS daily. Use what you have for now and at a later time adjust for peak performance. It is likely you have the right prop for that boat/engine combo.

We usually use the 27 Yamaha T Series on most. Though the 25 M Style Pro Series will perform fine for some. If you want to get up and run, then try a 27 T sometime. BCB

I am running that same hull and motor down here in Bridge City, TX. I like the 27T-1 yamaha prop. The 25p you have should give you a better hole shot and less topend. 27 for me cause I like to go as fast as I can. My hole shot is a little slow. I tried a 26 Fury and it did well overall with everything. Holeshot, midrange, and topend but it wasnt quit as fast as the 27T-1. I have also tried a tempest and it did so-so. The TXP prop I tried did horrible. But you can get them tuned to do almost anything you want with a good prop guy.

Our suggestion would be a 25 Fury to try. We also ran a 25 Tempest on this rig though the 25M runs well usually.
