You will need the ring on the trophy along with plugs as in the photo,  it’s a great prop, the only downside is it won’t power load on the trailer like a Temptest or Fury 3 blade, you will need more trailer in the water to get on the bow roller.

I was running a 3 blade Fury for a while.  I put the Trophy back on.   The Fury has a great hole shot.   The 3 blade didn’t lift like the 4 blade.   I would love to try the 4 blade Fury.

I’d be interested in your results between the 4 blade Fury vs the Trophy.

The Fury ran 70 with just me and about 3/4 full of fuel , plannin on going try the Trophy this weekend see what it will do , still learning the boat just want to see if it has lil more in it.

I recently picked up a 2004 Cougar FTD with a 225 Optimax on it….have only ran a 26 trophy plus on it but hleshot was pretty poor…ran it up to 68 mph in a short stretch of river. Will be trying a 25 rev 4, 25 fury 3 and 24 fury 3 this spring once the lakes up here in Wisconsin open up. Can post back results here as the cougar/puma share the same hull. really hoping the fury improves holeshot and if so I can always have it worked to create more lift.   Would like to try a Fury 4 blade sometime soon as well.

Got to try the Trophy out this weekend, has more lift than the fury seems to hold the boat up better in the midrange speeds. Hole shot was lil slower than Fury so took the plugs out to try but not much difference, thinking of taking the ring off next see what it does. Top end the trophy was  better ran 72  loaded down with two of us .

I ran a 25 fury 3 blade on my 2004 cougar FTD with 45 gallons of gas, compartments full, livewells full and two guys and I was hitting the limiter @ 70 MPH. holeshot was significantly better than the trophy plus and top end was better. the fury does run flat.
