On my PII the 24 Fury 4 gives a lot of bow lift, even at slower speeds.
It does like to run deep like the Fury 3. Unlike most 4 blade props that do well raised, I find the Fury 4 does well deeper.
3.75 PTP seems pretty low already. As far as JP height, I let steering torque be the deciding factor. You want just a slight bit of left steering torque at upper speeds. Raising the JP will add steering torque, lowering will remove it.
Bass Cats also do not require as much trim compared to most boats.
