He is really enjoying the new Mercury Marine V-6 Four Stroke on our 1997 Pantera Classic. I have been amazed by the differences between it and the two strokes we have had. Of course it is hard to compare 20 year old engines to a new one.
At this point it has about 8 hours one it. He has not let me even load the boat since we got the new motor. He sent me a picture showing that it hit 67.8 mph @ 5610 RPMs today with 15 gallons of fuel, two people, most of our gear, and a full live well with a few fish in it. This is with a 25p Tempest that come off our old motor. So the prop does have a few dings in it. Really thinking we need to find a 24p Fury to try.
