Puma STS slapping sound

New to the STS. I notice when I’m fast through a chop where I’m used to hearing that slapping sound of the chop hitting the hull, I’m hearing a much higher pitched sound. I’m wondering if it could be the long rods from the latches whacking with the vibration of the hull. It’s the only thing I can think of.  Does anyone else get this higher pitched, metal rattling sound from their STS?

The sound is likely transferring through the hull to the drain itself. try placing something over the drain to determine if that is the source, as they have had some harmonics on occasion. It is not the latch rods.

Check the floor drain cover. We have had one or two that vibrated and we had to but some rtv under it to cushion it.

I have to regularly tighten the screws on drain plate. Last time tried some lock tight on screws.  Will see how it works
