Puma STS w/Balzout Console Mounts

Pages 14-15 of the online brochure show a Puma STS with dual Balzout mounts on the console and the SmartCraft Gauge between them appears to be in full view. What size were those units on that console?

Can 2 10 inch Humminbirds be mounted that way and still leave room to view the center center SmartCraft gauge?

 

Does anyone have any pictures of a setup like that on a puma STS?

I have 2 12’s on my dash, it is a really tight squeeze but works for me. I can see the smartcraft gauge between them no problem, albeit a narrow window.  By tight squeeze I mean it the screen are really close to the steering wheel and the left hand graph sticks out a little far for my liking.  I’m 6’3 240 and can make it around no problem but a novice could use it as a grab point or bang in to it, which could be an issue.   GREAT BOAT don’t hesitate.

The units in the picture you are referring to are HDS 9’s.  10’s would not interfere with viewing your smartcraft gauge.

I have 2 12s on my cougar.  It’s tight, but I can see the gauge.

Just an FYI” they do make a steering wheel insert of 1″, 2″, 3″, which moves the steer wheel closer to to you, but  it will allow you more room between the wheel and the graphs.
