Puma Trim Reprogram?

2011 Puma with a Yamaha 250 SHO and Nexsys gauges,all of a sudden my trim gauge is out of wack....example,when the motor is at 50% Trim the gauge shows 80% trim, can the gauge be reprogrammed or does this mean the sensor has gone bad?If it can be reprogrammed or sensor replaced how do you do it?Thanks.

You can reset values, though we would go with a new sender as this will need reprogramming frequently once they fail as values float.
