The way I recall the rules, as a Cat owner in an area that has no Cat dealer I can request sanctioning for an entire series. I did this with the Colorado River Region WON Bass team series for the last season. (Still fishing this one.) Its a pretty good series, but I may not fish it next year. My questions is, “Is there any point to Quest sanctioning a small series?” I mean a series where a killer turn out might be a dozen boats with two dozen anglers? I started a local club (open membership) that fishes a Pro Am Draw Team format this year, and I was thinking about spending more of my time trying to build it up next year instead of fishing all over the place.
