Norfork has no major events on the reservoir in most seasons. There will be smaller events and those run in the range of 20 boats. The Cystic Fibrosis and the Bass Cat Invitational are the largest events on the lake and the only major events. From memory, Over the course of time there has been one Mr Bass of Arkansas, One BASS Open, Two (2) Arkansas Bass Federation events, One Fishermans Ambassadors and one Redman event. Otherwise the only events are local club events and the Winter Bass-O-Thon a couple times a year, which is the oldest organized fishing tournament series in the world. There was an annual Boy Scout event that drew 75 boats or so, though it is no more. There you have it!BCB
