Question for Bass Cat

There should be cords in the holder the are across the center of the grommets that hold your handles. These should be used in a figure S, one under and one over to hold the handles in place.

Judging by BCBs response to a similar question about a Sabre, Id say you CAN use a 4 bolt jackplate BUT for more support they recommend a 6 hole configuration.jack-plate-install-question-t37182.html

The margay only has 4 bolt holes on the transom. Talked with bass cat and I can use any jackplate. Going to go with a hydro dynamics plate.

Not actually, that requires the six bolt plate and only uses four bolts. We dont know who gave that answer though the service tech is on National Guard duty, and there are 8 staffers also out for IBEX. The rails still support the transom full length even though only four bolts are used.
