I see that you know someone that has a FTD with a 26 trophy that screams. Could you get me some info on his set up. I would like to know what height the motor is , what rpms he is turning and what is his top end speed. Does he have the large hub trophy or the small hub. I have a 2004 FTD dual console and keep hearing that I should be getting speeds of 72-74 mph. The best I can get is around 71 loaded with just me in the boat. I have a 26 trophy and the highest rpm I can turn is 5560 with a speed of 71 GPS. I have a 25 trophy also but my best speed with it has been about 69 GPS. I have been up and down so many times with the jack plate and both props that I think im wearing the bolts out. This set up is getting real frustrating. Please help if you can.
