Question on PIV/may have been Flyswatter?

More then likely that was mine. On 2010 models going forward both are standard on the PIV. BassCat correct me it that is not correct.

Yep, thats the one. I ordered everthing I thought that I needed last week. When the parts came in yesterday the bungee cord did not have a hook at one end. The ends on the cord were the same. I guess I should have specified the one used as a rod strap for the deck. I will also need the metal latch to put the hook end through. Did you predrill pilot holes before installing the screws?

Kramr,The previous owner of my PIV had a velcro rod strap on one side and a bungee style on the other. I am not sure why he went with this set up. I have always used the velco strap on my previous boats.
