I just installed the Stabilizers on mine and if you just follow the instructions included with them, you shouldnt have a problem. The hardware included is threaded bolts. You should drill and tap your mount to thread the bolts in. Just be careful to keep your tap going straight. There are several “You Tube” videos that you can watch to see exactly how it is done. Good luck with your project.Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
This is a ram mount that you mount to the front deck and then you cant tighten an adjustable clamp to the tm shaft to stabilize it for over the road travel. No hardware included. This is want I want to add to the front deck:http://www.cabelas.com/product/Ram-reg- … ~brand-RAMI just want to make sure I dont hit anything underneath drilling or screwing the mount to the front deck. Now this is almost hilarious because I thought that you meant one of these Equalizers. http://www.basscatstore.com/theequalize … stkit.aspxSo kindly disregard my previous post . I would think that the stabilizer you are showing should be ok to install for your trolling motor. I would hope that BCB would chime in and give you a better answer.Last edited by JEH in La on September 1st, 2017, 12:45 am, edited 1 time in total.Everyone should believe in something. Jeff,Now worries. I did call the factory and they suggested bolting for the long term if I am skinny and have long arms. That is not the case, so I went with option 2: 1″ stainless screws into the deck. Worked like a charm. Thanks
