RakerII and TempestPlus 4 Sale – Reduced will trade…

Good Day,I have a 25Tempest Plus (excellent shape w/out hub kit $250) and 26 RakerII hubbed for Johnson ($300) in excellent shape. (DanPLeBlanc@aol.com). Negotiable..... My Johnson 225HO is being replaced by an Evinrude 225HO Etec. My 2 extra props have gotta go to be able to get one thatll work with the new hot HO!!! The sitting boat with tackle being used as a guest wont last for long!Raker II (see photos at link) - just too much prop, condition like new: $300: Tempest Plus 25pitch (see photos at link) without Flo-Torq hub kit. Bought from Gabe Lawson (excellent shape) - asking $250:

Basscat Dan, You wont miss anything on these two propellers with this rig anyways. We never have liked a 26 Raker II on a BCB hull of 19 or 20 foot. It might work on a Pantera IV model fine, though it would depend on the load. It is more of a sled propeller. The 25 Tempest is a good wheel. Someone will take that off your hands at 275. BCB

BassCat,I agree that the RakerII just didnt sing on my rig. The bow lift is great and the feel was good, but the speed was not there for the CAT. Though I am sure it would be great on another rig.The Tempest is a good prop, but the 4blade Renegade seems to perform overall. I talked to my good ole Evinrude (formerly Johnson) dealer today and I am going to drop it off. Hes going to work with me to either get it fixed reasonably or find me a nice lightly used gearcase.
