Recirculator problem

I have a 2007 Cougar FTD. The recirculator switch controls two bilge pumps, one for each side of the livewell. One set of wires to one pump is not working. I removed the bilge pump and tested it, and it works fine. I used a test light and found that there is NO power getting to the pump. I tried to trace the wire and it looks like they all enter the motor?? What do I need to check now?

The Pump you are looking at is probably the pump out for the live well. The switch only operated one pump at BCB, unless someone was testing something and you do not have a retail unit. The pump we think you are referencing, we believe is the Pump out and if you depress the Pump Out button on the round touch pad, we think the pump will operate. BCB

LOL! Thanks. It is still the same set up as from the factory. I will try the pump out to see. My recirculator was not as strong so I thought it was the pump. Is there an easy way to clean out the pipes in the livewell?

Sure! Just turn the ball valve in the rear, in the sump on each spray bar, and press the trash up into the tube that is trying to come out those small holes. The trash will eject through with water flow into the bilge and be drained out when the bilge is flushed.
