Removable console?

It can be removed carefully, though is attached with adhesives.

It takes about five minutes though retro fitting the parts can be a challenge as older boats were not setup for parts that were not available at the time of production. We have done one retro and it would be a job. We will get a number for relief you need over the rod holder and if yours has enough space it could be done. Just curious as to if removing this console is something you want to do often or not. Im asking because when my wife rides in the boat she loves a console, but I dont want one while im fishing tournaments. It does not seem complicated to remove, how time consuming is it?

It takes a couple of minutes and the system is totally secured. You wont loose your console in rough water, or driving down the road like some other brands have. There are two engineered aluminum cams that secure the console to those SS threaded T socket stems. You flip three (3) cams and unscrew them to press the T Stems in and they roll out of socket. The only stem that must be totally removed is the one on the side and the two face stems remain hanging through the front face and reinsert when installing. It sounds harder than it is, most really seldom remove them and this is the most secure install in the market.

Wat models and starting yrs does the removable console work on. I noticed the lip against the rod locker in the picture so Im sure it is needed for the cam latches to fit. Awhile back I had ask about my 2013 p2 and it was not available. Are there any plans for this option. I think its a brilliant ideal to be able to take in and out.
