Replacing Courtesy Light bulbs

Nope. They just pull right out. You might try gently prying them out from the side. There is a small clip on each side that holds them in place. Gently pry on them, and they will slide right out. You actually might not need to replace the bulbs. You might just try cleaning up the contacts really good and see if that works. Any corrosion will keep those lights from working. My bet is most of these either have bad or corroded contacts. You might check that first.

What part slides out? Do you pry at the edge of the swiveling light, or the base that actually is installed into the fiberglass?James

Jewelaston, The enter portion removes by depressing the upper and lower toothed sides. That allows the light to remove from the frame. We do think it might just be corrosion on the bronze contact wheel most likely. It is common on the brass part. BCB

My issue turned out to be a ground wire. It had shaken off the terminal. Re-installed and works like new now!James
