RETIRED!!!

Well its official now. Today was my last day of work...forever.My plans are to get back to my roots and move back to Louisiana. Going to live at the camp on Toledo Bend in Arnolds Bay. Fish, grow a garden, and have a shop to tinker around in.I believe my parents are getting into their later years so I want to get back closer to them. Atlanta is a 11 hour drive if I drive fast. Now Ill be 25 miles from them to visit and help my sister out, Lord knows she needs a break Im hoping to meet up with some Bass Cat family around the area. There arent too many around North Georgia area. May even be able to make the GAF this October.Exciting times!

congrats on the retirement i cant think but thats a tough thing to do i saw my grand farther retire and then got a job at burger king just to have a reason to get up man they loved that man my neighbor has no Hobies and is going crazy at just 55 he better find something i tell him or at least cut my grass ha ha but congrats good luck enjoy the family near you and god bless

You can sell your boat. Theres no fish left in Toledo Bend plus youll be too busy to fish now that youre retired. Thanks allI fished the lake back in the 70s and never caught anything so if there are no more fish itll just make it more like coming home, lol.I think Ill be pretty busy though.

Hahaha! You know better than that. Toledo keeps putting out fish year after year. I just hope the pressure doesnt affect it negatively as far as the “trophy” fish, but there will still be good fish to be caught for many years. You will be in an area where you have access to some very popular areas without too long of a run. Im up north of Pendleton Bridge in Lanana Creek. There are more and more BCBs every year and its a pretty sight. I got to go out yesterday for a little while and saw an older model P2 and also someone I know in another Cougar.
