Sounds like weve been having the same type of year Brushfisher. I am actually having my worst tournament year ever. Im catching fish in practice but come tournament day Im not making the right adjustments. Just last weekend I was on a sure 16-18 lb bite, which wasnt good enough to win, but I knew I would place in the top 5 with that weight. I mean no doubt about it. Tournament day I end up with 12.68 lbs. I just cant explain it. Hasnt gone my way. But, Ill keep plugging away and come out of the slump just as you will. I know one of the things Im struggling with is fishing around alot of boats. Im not used to doing that and this year the fish are concentrated in one or two specific areas and Im letting the boat traffic affect my fishing. I just need to figure out how to deal with that in a more posotive way. Ill work it out soon enough. Good luck to you and I hope you turn it around soon.
