St. Croix Avid 7 MH Fast Action RodDaiwa Tatula ReelI use the MH over a M because Im usually fishing a weightless senko around some time of shallow cover and want to be able to wrestle them out fast.If you havent used a Tatula yet, give one a try, I am very very impressed with them.

Multiple times my friend. In my mind multiple times. May be the real deal next season. With his staff changes and going to a 3-4 D time will tell. Seriously though I just started trying out the No.8 blackouts this year after 20 years with CastAway. Shimano Calais or Core with a St. Croix medium heavy fast action Mojo Bass rod. I can cast a weightless Yamamoto Senko across the lake with minimal effort.

I use a Dobyns Fury 704C. 7ft Heavy for weightless Senkos. Lews Tournament MB 8.3.1. I can throw it quite a ways, and skip it under trees and docks. I believe a Dobyns 703C may be even better, as the softer tip would allow it to load when casting.

I use medium action matrix rod( custom by me) and X brand reel with Boca Abec 7 spool and pinion bearings. – throws same lures with half the effort
