I went from an 03 Sabre to an 07 PII. The stability is a little better when you are walking around and it does not take water on the front when you are fishing up front and pointing the nose into the waves like you were experiencing. The ride is diffinately better and it is much nicer to fish from. Plenty of storage and room for pretty much anything you want to bring with you. I like the boat much better for tournament fishing and one of the main reasons is, when I really loaded the boat down fishing a tourny and had livewells full with full tank of gas and a parnter it ran a little slower and sluggish. The PII seems to run just as hard loaded down as it does when its empty. Im sure this is because I went from a 150, which is a 2.5 block, to a 200 opti, whcih is a 3.0 block. I love how this boat handles tournament fishing much better then my Sabre did. The Sabre was great for just a day out with my boys fishing, but when I fished tournaments I needed more boat that would handle the longer, harder, rougher runs that you have to make sometimes. It all comes down to how much you fish and what you are wanting out of the boat as to if its worth the money to you. I love my PII.
