361V has an 88” beam and the Sabre has a 93” so imagine it’ll be more stable, if you can swing a newer Sabre they moved to the FTD in 2007 which has a wider front deck.

The 95 Sabre is ONLY a 90” beam, not 93”.  You really wouldn’t gain much except quickness. Only a 2 year difference between the boats..unless you have something going on with that 361 or sold it already and have a very limited budget, I’d see no reason to basically trade even.

You’re right, the regular Sabre didn’t go to 93” until 2006. It shows to have gone to 91” in 2001 and 92” in 2004, did it actually change? I grew up in a ‘94 Classic which I though was just a foot longer than Sabre like the P2 and Sabre FTD, didn’t realize it was 2” wider.

Our first boat was an 89 Sabre, then a 97 Pantera II DC. I think when the Sabre got “noticeably” wider in the transom would be early 2000s, like 05-06.

Now I’m fishing in a Triton with a 225. Meets my needs at this point in life. Occasionally still get to catch a few off the back deck of my brother’s Puma FTD too, lol

Anybody know the storage width of the newer sabres? The storage length is 19’8″ which fits in the garage, but not sure if the fenders would let my wife out of her car. lol

99” on my FTD with single axle trailer and 14” wheels, a couple reasons I went with the latter is the 15” wheel offset stuck outside of fenders and threw road grime up more as well as the smaller wheel/tire allows a little easier unloading/loading on shallow ramps.
