My personal experience with repairing a boat with metal flake is time consuming and trial and error. That said I have a 1997 Jaguar that had some deep scratches on the upper back side from hitting a dock and metal. I took on myself during the winter to repair. I have a Red/Silver metal flake that I had to match which is the biggest problem of getting the ratio of the flakes mixed. It took me a couple of attempts to get the flake ratio right, then you have to clear coat over the flakes. Mine was a spot that was separated by pin striping so was able to isolate the area. turned out perfect. got all the flakes and clear coat from Bass Cat. With that all said you will probably have a hard time finding someone willing to take on the repair, but it’s worth a shot.
